I remember seeing these movies on Doordarshan with my complete family in the past. I leaped at the opportunity when Jubilee was presented to me. That was like thinking back to happier times.

She said, “I got into the skin of the character in Jubilee by viewing popular films during the 50s and 60s to take references from the actresses of that time. This was how I prepared to play a girl from the bygone age. To avoid coming out as a caricature, the character’s essence is all mine. But in the context of their facial expressions, body language, and dialogue delivery. Many of the actresses of that time period inspired me.

Vikramaditya Motwane will make his directorial comeback with Jubilee, three years after he made AK vs AK for Netflix. Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap starred in this thriller that was loosely based on their lives.
