The business-focused reality series Shark Tank India is scheduled to return for a second season following a resounding success with season 1. Shark Tank India 2 will continue to air on Sony TV, just like last year. The OTT episodes of the Sony Pictures Networks-distributed program will be accessible via the SonyLIV app. Mark Burnett developed the format for the American version of Shark Tank, which debuted in 2009 on the ABC network. Shark Tank India 2 will debut at 10 PM, taking Amitabh Bachchan’s well-liked quiz show KBC 14’s place.

Entrepreneur Amit Jain, a recent entry, ranks sixth on the list. Co-founding and serving as CEO of the online marketplace for buying and selling old vehicles, Car Dekho, is Amit. Jain attended IIT Delhi and is a native of Jaipur. Jain launched his first startup in Austin, Texas, where he had previously worked. In 2008, he co-founded Car Dekho with his brother.
A cooking-based reality show called Masterchef India has been acquired by Sony Pictures from Star Network. Whereas seasons 1 through 6 were broadcast on Star Plus, season 7 will begin airing Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. on Sony TV, with Shark Tank India taking over at 10 p.m. on the same weekdays.
Comedian Rahul Dua will take over for Shark Tank India 1 host Ranvijay Singha. Apart from Ranvijay, Ashneer Grover and Ghazal Alagh, the other two sharks from last season, won’t be back this time around.
