Ranbir Kapoor: A portion of the audience started the “Boycott Bollywood” trend on social media during the COVID-19 outbreak for a number of different reasons. Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, received the most demands for a boycott, although it had no impact whatsoever on the box office receipts. In actuality, the Siddharth Anand-directed picture broke box office records in Bollywood.

When asked about the boycott craze, Ranbir Kapoor responded, “If you ask me about any call to ‘Boycott Bollywood,’ I genuinely think that unjustified,” according to a quotation from PTI (Press Trust of India). The aftermath of the pandemic will bring a lot of bad things. We are not trying to save the world when we make a movie. As a result, people visit theaters to escape their problems. People come to enjoy themselves by watching movies on a big screen. I simply don’t understand the boycott concept.

Speaking to the agency about Pathaan‘s phenomenal success, Ranbir Kapoor said, “What Pathaan has managed to do, the film industry needs it. I’m thrilled and glad that Pathaan did that. And I believe Shah Rukh Khan is deserving of every triumph for Pathaan. I’ve had the opportunity to work with him several times and have seen him in action. He contributed so lot to this field. I’m so proud of him.

On March 8, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, a Luv Ranjan-directed film starring Shraddha Kapoor, will be released in theaters.
