Ranbir Kapoor: The renowned trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh recently discussed his predictions for the first quarter of 2023 in the entertainment sector. It has been a mixed bag for Bollywood, according to Adarsh. While some movies were successful at the box office, others did not hold the audience’s attention. While discussing his most recent picture, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Adarsh briefly praised Ranbir Kapoor and implied that he belonged to the category of superstars during the discussion about the box office success of Bollywood films.
He also said that he expected more from TJMM because it was made by “the director of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety; three very fresh, commercially successful firms, and a very different take on relationships.” And he remembered telling Luv Ranjan that he felt TJMM lacked something from the prior Luv Ranjan movies.
Adarsh went on to say, “Ranbir Kapoor is a terrific performer. And when we discuss the stars of the 1990s, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Hrithik Roshan come to mind. However, I would add one more name to the list, even if he does not fall under the 90s category. However, add Ranbir, who is a member of the superstar who possesses it or exudes the aura of a superstar.
“I think what an actor [he is],” he continued. He may be molded into any shape like clay, and he will adopt that shape. Filmein kitni bhi buri rahi ho ya achi rahi ho aap ye nahi keh saktey ki Ranbir Kapoor ko acting nahi aati, if you look at his body of work. He does such great acting. also in this movie [TJMM]. I’m confident that Ranbir Kapoor and the director of the upcoming movie Animal will each bring something unique to the box office.
The industry expert concluded by saying, “Ranbir is a really excellent performer. No offense to remakes, but Ranbir is not the type to remake, which is what I truly enjoy about him. He previously stated in an interview with me: “I don’t believe in the remake for the simple reason that someone has already done it in the past.”
