Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2: The box office smashes Pushpa: The Rising – Part 1 starring Allu Arjun was a box office sensation. The sequel, Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2, is now being written, or rather, rewritten, as the screenplay for both parts 1 and 2 was finished at the same time.
But first, an update. The screenplay that filmmaker Sukumar is currently finalizing has been changed to include one prominent Bollywood A-lister, ideally one of the Khans or Ajay Devgan, but if not them, then someone else.
Not only would the sequel have significantly better production standards than the original movie, but its budget would also be nearly twice as large.
There were rumors that Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2 antagonist would be played by one Bollywood actor (Arjun Kapoor). This was idle, pointless promotion. The antagonist in the Pushpa sequel is Fahadh Faasil.
But, one prominent Bollywood A-lister will appear in Pushpa 2 alongside Allu Arjun. According to sources, the A-list celebrity will make a lengthy cameo appearance, similar to Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi in the most recent Telugu movie Godfather.
The first movie, Pushpa: The Rising – Part 1, came out in December 2021 and was an instant hit. In locations where Hindi is the predominant language, the movie performed admirably. The smuggling of red sandalwood was the basis for the film.
