The Friday release of Lakadbaggha, which stars Anshuman Jha, failed to generate any notable box office results. However, this isn’t stopping the producers from moving forward with the movie’s sequel and beginning production this year.

When discussing his feelings after receiving the Best Actor Award for Lakadbaggha at the HBO-sponsored South Asian International Film Festival in New York, Anshuman personally corroborated the information. Now that I know this, I’m motivated to train even harder for Chapter 2. Yes, the sequel will begin filming in September 2023, the actor confirmed.

Anshuman expressed his gratitude to HBO and the South Asian International Film Festival, New York, for giving Lakadbaggha (Hyena) the honor of being the festival’s opening film and for recognizing my character Arjun Bakshi as deserving of the Best Actor Award. Since it was declared after Irfan (Khan) sir’s birthday, I dedicate this award to him. Thank you for honoring Sayani (Gupta) as the finest female actor!
