India successfully test-fires its newest missile, the Agni Prime.

A new generation nuclear-capable ballistic missile, the Agni Prime, was successfully “testedfired” by India on Friday at around 9.45 am off the coast of Odisha.

A two-stage canisterized solid propellant ballistic missile with redundant dual navigation and guiding systems is called the Agni Prime.

The range of a surface-to-surface ballistic missile is 1000–2000 kilometres.

The Defense Research and Development Organization created and developed the nuclear-capable missile (DRDO).DRDO tested the Agni Prime earlier in December 2021 from the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam island off the coast of Odisha.
