A new generation nuclear-capable ballistic missile, the Agni Prime, was successfully “testedfired” by India on Friday at around 9.45 am off the coast of Odisha.
“The missile covered its full range during the test flight, and all test goals were attained. The Agni Prime missile has completed its third straight successful flight test, demonstrating the precision and dependability of the system “military authorities stated. A two-stage canisterized solid propellant ballistic missile with redundant dual navigation and guiding systems is called the Agni Prime.
The range of a surface-to-surface ballistic missile is 1000–2000 kilometres.
The Defense Research and Development Organization created and developed the nuclear-capable missile (DRDO).DRDO tested the Agni Prime earlier in December 2021 from the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam island off the coast of Odisha.
