Apple to launch new 24-inch iMac, 15-inch MacBook Air soon: All details

After almost two years, Apple is apparently planning to introduce a new all-in-one iMac desktop PC with a 24-inch display in April. The new iMac is anticipated to have the same design as the iMac 2021 but a more potent SoC from Apple’s M2 family.

These iMacs (purportedly codenamed J433 and J434) will reportedly have several internal components relocated and modified, according to Apple analyst and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. According to the company, the iMac’s stand will also be produced using a new method. The release of Apple’s new all-in-one Computer hasn’t been officially announced.

Additional information about the new iMacs is still unknown, although we may anticipate Wi-Fi 6e and improved memory technology in the latest PCs. The iMac 2023 will be offered in the same color scheme as the current iMac, which consists of blue, silver, pink, and orange, according to Gurman’s Power On newsletter.

The pricing of the iMac is not disclosed, although, in India, the all-in-one PC normally goes for more than a lakh rupees. The price of the 24-inch 2021 iMac is presently Rs1,29,900 on the Apple India website. This model has an M1 SoC with 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and an 8-core CPU and 7-core GPU.

The message mentions the introduction of “three new Macs” in addition to the iMac during the next three months. According to rumors, Apple will introduce a 13-inch MacBook Air and its first MacBook Air with a 15-inch display (codenamed J515). The MacBook Air line currently offers computers with screens as large as 14 inches. Apple has previously released an 11-inch model as well, but it has been a while since the last update. Moreover, Apple might think about including M3 SoC in the MacBook Air 2023.

A Mac Pro with Apple M-series SoCs will be released alongside the MacBook Air computers. Indeed, this Computer was created with professional creators in mind. According to the rumor, the top-tier Mac Pro model will have the M2 Ultra SoC, which can offer up to 24 CPU cores, 76 graphics cores, and a minimum of 192 gigabytes of RAM. If the Mac Pro gets a fresh look, that will be intriguing to see.

Apple released Mac Studio last year for makers, despite the fact that there hasn’t been a redesign in a while. The M1 Ultra SoC, which offers a 20-Core CPU, 48-Core GPU, 64GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, is part of Mac Studio’s top option (memory can be customized). The cost of the variation is Rs 3,89,900.
